Our research on "direct observation of the core/double-shell architecture of intense dual-mode luminescent tetragonal bipyramidal nanophosphors" was featured as a Front Cover Art of Nanoscale Journal (Volumen 8, Issue 19).

Quasi-2D Electron Gas

Our research on ultra-high density quasi-2D electron gas by broken-gap band engineering was featured as a "Science Headline" on the U.S. Department of Energy Office of Science Website and as a PNNL "Physical Sciences Division Research Highlight."

2015 MSA Micrograph Competition Award

Prof. Jeong received the M&M 2015 Micrograph Competition Award (First Prize) for his electron micrograph titled "New York Skyline." The winning image of the 2015 MSA Micrograph Competition is featured on Page 8 of the M&M 2016 Call for Papers brochure.
