The Holmes Research Group operates in the Department of Chemical Engineering and Materials Science under the direction of Prof. Russell J. Holmes. The group is primarily focused on the study of thin films organic and hybrid organic-inorganic materials.  We are specifically interested in how these materials behave from a growth standpoint, the characterization of their optical and electrical properties, and their performance in optoelectronic devices.
